Lodge Employee Found Dead
TRAPPER CREEK -- On Aug. 14 at about 11:43 a.m., Troopers were notified of a
death at the McKinley Princess Lodge near Mile 133 of the Parks Highway.
Investigation indicated that Cameron Lathan, 20 of Auburn, Wash., who had been an
employee at the lodge, died in his room at the lodge sometime during the night. The State
Medical Examiner was notified, and responded for the body. At this point in the
investigation cause of death is unknown, however no foul play is suspected.
Investigation is ongoing, and Lathan's next of kin has been notified.
