Council, Inc. will be held on Monday, April 2, 2007, at 7:00 p.
m at the Talkeetna Elementary School.

Karey Larson of the preschool playground's
planning committee will be among those to be
heard when the Talkeetna Community Council
meets April 2 in Talkeetna Elementary School's
Library.
The Borough set aside $10,000 for site
planning through a Bed Tax grant. The grant
funds were collected from local hostelries, and
are used to offset the impacts of tourism.
More money will come from the Borough's
Capital Improvement Fund later to help buy
play equipment. The committee's preferred site
it at the Talkeetna Public Library.
A complete review of Bed Tax grants will
happen toward the end of the agenda, which is
posted in full to the right of this article.
